However, as a client of ours, you have access to delayed market data on listed securities on which you can trade.

An online subscription tool is available on the trading platform to request the desired live market data. There you will find the list of exchanges available together with the news services, with the applicable monthly fees. You can subscribe and unsubscribe to the services of your choice.

Subscription costs

As soon as you subscribe to your chosen service, your account will be debited for the cost of subscription for a full calendar month, whatever date you subscribe.

Some exchanges (US equities and CFDs in particular) require subscribers to update their information every six months. 

Professional or Non-Professional

In order to obtain Live Market Data Fees on listed products, independently of whether a cost is applied or not, each user must subscribe to the Exchanges of interest and go through the assessment profile to define the type of categorization (if Professional or non-Professional). The final result will determine the type of fee that will be applied. Subscriptions must be done personally by each user. The finality is not to assess the account type but the person accessing and using the market data.

The Exchanges have strict criteria to classify professional and non-professional investors, and these are not necessarily linked to the actual use of the account. These include, among them, the type of profession, company by which the subscriber is employed or the role on the account. They can lead to a professional classification of the subscriber, despite the fact that the account is not used professionally. Vendors and banks must diligently apply these rules and monitor that the classification of each user is compliant with the provisions of the exchanges.

For this reason, if the self-classification given by a subscriber is not reflecting the definition given by the exchange or personal data are missing (such as name, surname, profession), Cornèrtrader has the right at any point in time to amend the data, cancel the original subscription and/or adjust it to the correct segmentation, without prior notice. In this case, the monthly fee will be charged according to the correct segment.

Generally, non-Professionals are intended to be only private individuals using the data for personal investments. However, for most of the Exchanges worldwide (included Swiss, Europeans and Americans) private individuals, who are working in the financial sector, employed by a financial institution, independently of the job performed, or whose activity can be qualified as financial advisory (this can be typically the case of independent financial advisors) are categorized as professionals.

Corporates are categorized as Professional, regardless of the type and purpose of the subscription.
Before subscribing, please refer to the rules of each Exchange available in the subscription tool on the platforms and read the criteria applied to them. In this process, Cornèrtrader cannot influence in any way the segmentation rules as defined by the exchanges and must apply these very strictly.

Automatic Subscription Renewal

On the first day of each month, the system renews the active subscriptions and charges the subscription fees to your main account.
Renewal will only occur if the "Available balance for withdrawal" of your account is sufficient to cover the fee.
If not, all active subscriptions will be cancelled starting from the first day of the month.
Subscriptions made from 4:00 PM CET on the penultimate day of the month until the end of the month, will not be included in the automatic renewal for the following month and will therefore need to be manually reactivated by the user. Charges from exchanges are always monthly, regardless of how many days the service is actually used for.

- Transferred within the Cornèr Group: CHF 100

- Transferred to other banks: CHF 250

Effective from 1 July 2023:

*Both the administrative pending and the administrative review fees are applicable in the event of a client's failure to respond to multiple attempts to request KYC updates and/or documentation necessary for the Bank to comply with applicable regulations.

The fees can be cumulated.

When you trade an instrument in a currency that differs from the base denomination of the account, the transaction conversions – including profits/losses – are executed using the FX spot mid-price at the time when you close your position, plus/minus a fixed mark-up of 0.5%.

The currency conversion fees do not apply to margin collateral. Only the settlement of actual transactions are included, for example, buying/selling stocks, paying/receiving option premiums, booking of profit/losses, dividends, etc.

The rates used for the currency conversions are shown in the trading platforms under the “Trades Executed” report.

• For the clients domiciled in Switzerland, the Swiss tax statement fee is CHF 20 per tax year.
• For all non-Swiss domiciled clients, the generic tax statement fee is CHF 65 per tax year.

This is a fixed annual charge that only lapses when the account is closed. As soon as the document is ready, you will be notified, and it will be published directly in the dedicated section on Cornèronline (e-documents).

In case of spot requests or for an ad hoc production of a statement, the fee is CHF 75 for the Swiss tax statement and CHF 100 for the generic one.

In case of a structure with multiple subaccounts, each of them will be considered individually. Therefore, even in the presence of an overall positive account value, interests will be applied to each negative balance.

For currencies that are subject to negative interest rates, even in presence of a positive cash value, Cornèrtrader reserves the right to charge negative interests for accounts above a certain threshold on an individual basis and subject to a previous notice.
